A Little Crowns Foundation is an organization dedicated to promoting education, social development and the empowerment of the next generation.
Founded by Nereida Lobo, the foundation develops initiatives aimed at creating opportunities, inspiring young leaders and promoting a positive impact on communities.
Its mission is aligned with the philosophy “Beauty With Impact”, promoting the idea that true beauty is revealed when it is used as a force to inspire, lead and generate positive change in society.
It is a great honor for me to assume the role of National Director of MISS UNIVERSE Cabo Verde. This responsibility represents not only an important milestone in my journey, but also a significant opportunity to elevate and celebrate the extraordinary women of our country.
As a former Miss Africa USA and founder of the Little Crowns Foundation, I have dedicated a large part of my life to initiatives that promote education, social development, and women’s empowerment. Through my experience in the pageant world and the philanthropic work I carry out in Africa, I understand the transformative impact that platforms such as the MISS UNIVERSE can have in shaping confident women who are leaders and committed to positive change.
Cabo Verde is a country rich in culture, talent, and potential. I deeply believe that Cabo Verdean women possess the intelligence, resilience, and grace necessary to represent our country with pride on the international stage. My goal is to identify a candidate who not only represents the beauty of our country, but also demonstrates leadership, character, and a true commitment to social impact.
The MISS UNIVERSE Cabo Verde goes far beyond winning a crown. It is a powerful platform for advocacy, personal growth, and the promotion of our cultural identity, while also highlighting Cabo Verde as a vibrant tourist destination full of opportunities.
In collaboration with our team and partners, I am committed to maintaining the highest standards of excellence, integrity, and purpose throughout this journey.
